Before, to perform this step, you needed to be the creator of a group of more than 200 people in order to turn your simple group into a supergroup. Today it is no longer necessary and any Telegram group,no matter how small, can go to the next level.
Advantages of a supergroup? Well, they are the following:
- New members will be able to see all the history of the group and not since they belong to the group.
- The administrators can delete any message. Doing so will remove all members equally. This is one of the advantages that we like the most.
- Members can only edit and delete their own messages and not those of others.
- Supergroups are muted by default.
- Admins will be able to create a public link and share it so other people can see and add themselves.
- Anchor or set messages to keep visible what is most important, as we can do on our Twitter wall.
HOW TO TURN YOUR GROUP INTO A TELEGRAM SUPERGROUP:
If you are the creator and administrator of a group, you must enter it and click on the image that characterizes it:
Once inside the group settings menu, click on EDIT:
After doing this, we scroll down to the bottom of the screen and find the option « Convert to Supergroup «:
By clicking on that option, we can now take the step to make our group a supergroup with its good points and, as specified, the impossibility of going back on this action.
