Supercell, creators of the well-known and highly plagiarized Clash of Clans, have launched for iOS a new strategy game called Clash Royale, in which we will have to beat our opponent deploying troops from our deck of cards.
As soon as you open the game, a tutorial will start explaining how to play. We will be able to see that it does not have much complication but that it does take some strategy to win. Once this tutorial is over we will be in what the game itself is. We will see a series of icons at the bottom that indicate the screen we are on.
On the first screen is the Store. In it we can buy cards with coins and other elements using the purchases within the app. The second screen will contain all the cards we have and we can also improve them from there. The third option is where the game starts. It is where we can find battles as well as see the chests that are being unlocked and get some free ones.
The fourth and fifth screens are used to see the clan chat and to access TV Royale. We will be able to see replays of featured battles, respectively.
HOW TO PLAY CLASH ROYALE:
We will have to choose among all the cards that we have 8 to form our deck. All the cards in this deck will appear randomly during the game, and will cost elixir (number in a pink drop at the bottom of the card). The maximum amount of elixir that can be stored is 10, so we'll have to use the cards wisely.
Once the game begins our mission is to destroy the three towers of the enemy before time runs out to obtain the crowns and chests that they give us for winning. In these chests there will be gold and cards that we can use to improve or buy cards. We will also get trophies every time we win (and lose them when we lose a battle), which will be used to go up to higher levels of the Arena, thus getting better cards.
Clash Royale is completely free to download but, like Clash of Clans, it includes in-app purchases in the form of gems that are used to purchase gold and chests. You can download this game from here.
