Since Apple allowed third-party keyboards on iOS, we can find a lot of them in the App Store, some very useful like Fleksy or Template Keyboard But, unlike many that focus on customization, ThingThing is focused on productivity.
To start using the keyboard we have to enable it from the system settings. To do this we have to go to Settings>General>Keyboard>Keyboards and once there add ThingThing Before starting to use the keyboard, we have to configure what "shortcuts" we want the keyboard to have.
WITH THINGTHING WE WILL SAVE TIME AND INCREASE OUR PRODUCTIVITY BECAUSE IT ADDS “SHORTCUTS” TO APPS AND FUNCTIONS ON THE KEYBOARD
To configure them we have to go to the keyboard application and select those applications that we want to link. By default, the app will ask us for permission to access the photos from our camera roll and the calendar, but we can enable more such as Facebook, Instagram or Wunderlist among others.
From this moment we can use it in all our applications using the charms that are shown at the top of the keyboard. As I said, ThingThing is focused on productivity and saving us time when working with our iOS device.
This is because it is designed so that we can add files from Dropbox or any other service in, for example, an email or check our availability to make an appointment without leaving the app we are using.
If we have granted access to the camera roll, Facebook or Instagram, we can easily share the photos. To do this, we just have to press the icon of the corresponding app, press the photos we want to share and press the "Share" icon that appears at the bottom right. The photos will automatically be copied and we will only have to paste them.
Although ThingThing is a good add-on, certain shortcomings can be highlighted, such as not being able to search for specific files in cloud services or the limited number of apps that can be link. Despite this, the developers of the app promise to improve it and add new features.
ThingThing is available to download completely free of charge and does not include any in-app purchases. You can download it from here.
