A few months ago we received the news that Facebook would use Spain as a "testing ground" like Ireland to test Reactions. This new feature added interactions to the "Like" button, making it easier to communicate on the social network.
These new interactions that arrived in Spain did not reach all users, much less all countries, but Facebook has announced that from today they will begin to appear to all users in all parts of the world.
FACEBOOK HAS DEFINITIVELY LAUNCHED REACTIONS, ELEMENTS TO INTERACT WITH PUBLICATIONS IN A WAY MORE ACCORDING TO THE FEELING THAT IT PRODUCES US
The Reactions are still the same as the last time we talked about them, since none have been removed or added. These interactions are “I like it”, “I love it”, “It amuses me”, “It makes me happy”, “It amazes me”, “It makes me sad”, and “It makes me angry”.
For the Reactions to appear in the Facebook app for iOS, all we have to do is press and hold the "Like" button on a post. After the necessary seconds, the 7 reactions will appear, including any of them the most in line with the sensation that the publication produces in us. If, on the contrary, we have been confused and have opened this menu by mistake, we will only have to release it to exit it.
In the web version of the social network it is also very easy to make use of these interactions, since we only have to place the cursor over “I like it” and the reactions will appear. In addition, from now on in Facebook posts we will see, as before with "Likes", we will see how many interactions of each type a post has.
The Reactions will appear gradually throughout today, so at the end of the day all users of the social network should have them available. Below you can see a video posted by Mark Zuckerberg in which you can see how these new functions that act as emojis work.
