With the presentation of iOS 8 in June 2014 came one of the great innovations in the iOS operating system: widgets. From that moment on, numerous widgets began to appear in the App Store as well as apps that had their own widget, and today we continue to find impressive widgets such as WidgeTunes

WIDGETUNES ALLOWS US TO CONTROL THE MUSIC OF OUR DEVICE FROM THE IOS NOTIFICATION CENTER

WidgeTunes is a widget that, like all of us, can be placed in the iOS Notification Center, and allows us to control the music in the memory of our devices and select the songs that we want to listen to from the Notification Center without having to unlock our device.

To start using the widget, the first thing we have to do is add it to the Notification Center. When we have added it and located it to our liking, the widget will be fully operational. In the widget we will see that we have three options, “Playlists”, “Albums” and “Favorites”, and at the bottom the menu to control playback.

In «Playlists» there will be all the playlists of our music. If we click on any of them, the list of songs that make up that list will appear. In “Albums” there will be all the albums, and finally, in “Favorites” there will be the items marked as favorites. We can mark any element as a favourite, be it a list, a song or an album, and for this we will only have to press the star icon that appears to the left of the element.

The menu that appears at the bottom is used to control playback, pausing the song or going to the previous or next one. From there we can also move through the songs that are in an album or in a playlist using the arrows that appear to the left and right.

WidgeTunes, of course, also has an application, but it only serves to configure the Notification Center widget, and as a player for our music. WidgeTunes has a price of €0.99 and you can download it by following this link
