Shoppiic seems like an application that has emerged with the idea of being a social network where we can find items that interest us and where our followers can help us when we go shopping of some sort.
After registering in the app, we will have to mark a series of categories that interest us, such as fashion, art, motor or food, so that the app recommends products that we might like. From here, we will be able to follow a series of users considered experts who will be able to make recommendations.
The aesthetics and operation of Shoppiic is very similar to those of Instagram. At the bottom we have all the necessary sections to use the app. In the first place is Home, where we will see the photos uploaded by all the users or stores that we follow. In the second section, Discover, we will see photos related to the categories that we selected at the time that interested us.
SHOPPIIC IN ADDITION TO USERS ALLOWS US TO DISCOVER STORES WHERE THEY SELL ITEMS RELATED TO OUR INTERESTS.
The central icon, a camera, allows us to upload photos of our purchases, while from the fourth section, called Messages, we access our notifications. Finally we have the Profile section from which we can modify our profile and access our account settings.
The functions could be divided into two: discover articles and get help when buying.To discover articles, we can do it from the Home section or from the Discover section. In the Home section there will be the photos published by the people we follow and we will be able to interact with them giving them "I like it", "I want it" or commenting.
The second function is to get help when shopping. For this we will have to upload a photo of the article that we want to help us choose, and our followers and friends will be able to give us their opinion with comments or "Likes". We will find these interactions with our photos in the Messages section.
The truth is that although the idea is good, the app currently seems to be somewhat deserted, but it is in no way unworthy and deserves to be given a chance. Shoppiic is completely free and you can download it from here.
