With the rise of Instagram came the rise of photography apps and photo editors. The greatest exponents of this can be Aviary and VSCO Cam, and Filterloop, the app I'm going to talk about today, is very similar to VSCO.

The Filterloop app, like VSCO, is designed to add filters and textures to our photos, and this is what sets it apart from other editors, since it doesn't focuses on factors such as Brightness or Contrast.

As soon as we open the app we find ourselves with the typical menu of photographic apps in which it gives us the option of choosing a photo from our roll or taking one at the moment. Once we have selected the photo we want to edit, we will access a screen that gives us the option to choose the size we want the photo to have.

Once we have selected the size we go to another screen where we can start editing the photo. At the bottom we find four tabs: Filters, Textures, Adjustments and More. In the first we can apply various filters to our photos. By default, the app includes 3 types of filters, among which there are a large number of them.

WITH FILTERLOOP WE CAN ADD TEXTURES AND FILTERS TO OUR PHOTOS.

In Textures we have a total of 8 categories, each with its own textures. This element does not alter the color, the contrast, or any other element of our photo, but rather adds the chosen element to the photo. When we apply Textures, at the top we have 5 icons that will allow us to modify some texture criteria such as color.

Finally in Settings, and although the app is not focused on that, we can modify the Brightness, Contrast or Exposure of our photo, among others.

If all the elements that Filterloop offers us seem few, we can download more from the More tab. Both the filters and the textures come in packs, some of them free and others paid from €0.99. You can download Filterloop for free from here
