Today we are going to talk about various data about Whatsapp with which we can get an idea of the impact that this instant messaging app has on society and, above all, on at your developer company.
We all know that this messaging application is the most used in the world and although it has a lot to improve and there are other apps in its category that surpass it in functionality and security, it is still the most used in the world with more than 900,000 ,000 users. This is the advantage of being one of the first to appear and of being one of the pioneers in offering to send messages for free.
Lately Facebook Messenger and Line are cutting distances but it seems that they are not going to unseat it from number 1.
But here we are, here we show you some curious statistical data that we have compiled and that show the potential of this great app.
CURIOUS AND INTERESTING DATA ON WHATSAPP:
This statistical data, collected in February 2014, shows that the value that each active user has towards Whatsapp is 42, 22$ , a low value if we compare it with the 141, 32$ valued by each active user for Facebook .
We refer to the statistics for April 2014, the month in which the record for messages sent, in one day, from this app was broken. A whopping 64 billion messages were reached. Surely this figure will soon be exceeded, knowing that now we are 400 million more users than then.
In the following graph you can see the evolution of active users of this messaging app. In September 2015, it reached 900 million users worldwide.
The following graph shows the proportion of users, with a mobile rate, who use Whatsapp from their Smartphones. As we can see, Spain is among the main ones in the world in terms of the use of this app. These data are from the last quarter of 2014 (looking forward to seeing the new ones for this year).
What do you think of these data from WhatsApp? At least they are curious, right?
We wanted to dedicate this article to the queen of instant messaging applications for a long time and we finally did it.Now what we hope is that we can access new, more up-to-date statistics, to make a similar post but with the most up-to-date data.
Greetings and, if you find this news interesting, share it on your favorite social networks. We would appreciate it.
