Following the tradition that it launched several years ago, Apple has published in the App Store which are, according to its criteria, the best games and applications of the year. In previous editions, the winners have been games as popular as Monument Valley in 2014, and apps like Duolingo or Pixelmator in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Games and apps are divided according to devices, that is, iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad.
EVERY YEAR AT THE END OF THE YEAR APPLE MAKES A SELECTION OF THE BEST GAMES AND THE BEST APPS OF THE YEAR
This year, the game selected as the best game of the year for iPhone is Lara Croft GO, a puzzle game in which we have to advance through various scenarios, solving them. The finalist for iPhone has been the game The Mesh, another puzzle game, except that in this one we have to combine numbers that appear in cells so that they add up and we get the target score.
The best app of the year for iPhone is Periscope, an app created by Twitter that allows us to broadcast live videos and share them with all the people we want. The finalist application for iPhone is Enlight, the well-known photo editor that we've already told you about on occasion or other.
For iPad, the 2015 app is La Fabrica de Robots, an application for children between 6 and 8 years old, with which they can learn very basic concepts of physics while creating a robot and having fun. This year's winning game for iPad has been Horizon Chase-World Tour, a retro-style racing game but with very successful visual graphics.
Also, Apple has also released the best items for Music, Books, and Movies to Apple Music, iBooks Store, and iTunes Store respectively. If you are interested in any of the winning or finalist applications, you can download them by accessing the App Store through the links that you will find in the names of said Apps and Games.
