Surely, we've all thought of enjoying Super Mario on the iPhone and even Pokémon . From now on, and as they have announced, this fall we will be able to start enjoying Nintendo games on our devices.
These games will arrive as Freemium, which means they will be free, but will have in-game purchases. This makes us think, and as its developers have said, we will have Nintendo games, but made from scratch for mobile devices, that is, they will not be adaptations of portable consoles.
Which Nintendo games will we see on iOS?
Perhaps this is the biggest unknown there will be until its first release. If they have advanced us, it will be unlikely that we will see Mario, Donkey Kong and Zelda on these devices. According to what they say, users of smart devices want other types of games. But we thought, do we really not want Mario on our iPhone?
As we have told you, the games will not be adaptations of portable consoles. For this to be the case, Nintendo has teamed up with Dena, the leading smartphone game company. This makes us think that future games will be of high quality.
What is our opinion?
We believe that Nintendo has finally taken the step that was being asked for so much. This company never wanted to get into the world of smartphones, but they have finally realized that it is a booming business and that they can explode very well.
The fact that they don't release games like Mario, Donkey Kong from our point of view, is neither more nor less than because they don't compete with their most powerful console (Nintendo DS), in this way they make sure they continue selling these console and also enter the world of Smartphones. Definitely a good move for Nintendo .
So from APPerlas , we are waiting for next fall to be able to test these games and see if they are of the same quality as on their handheld consoles.
