Changes a word from lowercase to uppercase

How many times have we been typing and when we realized it, we have written a word in lower case instead of in upper case? Surely it has happened to all of us at some point, and from our point of view, it is one of the things that annoys us the most when writing.

Apple knows about this, and that's why it gives us a solution, which, although somewhat hidden, is very effective and will surely come in handy for many of us. The solution is not having to delete that word or words in which we have made a mistake, with just a gesture, we will transform that word into upper or lower case.

And as we have already told you on several occasions, the predictive keyboard of iOS 8 , is a great advance in terms of the keyboards we had in previous versions, a step that we are undoubtedly taking advantage of very well.

HOW TO TRANSFER ANY WORD FROM LOWERCASE TO UPPERCASE WITHOUT DELETING ANYTHING

The first thing we have to do is select the word we want to “transform”. To carry out this example, we are going to go to the native app of Notes and we are going to transform it from lowercase to uppercase.

Once we have selected the word (hold down and then click on “select”), what we have to do is activate capital letters on our keyboard, to do this we press the capital button twice.

When we have it activated, we will see that in our predictive keyboard, it gives us the options in capital letters. We will only have to select the word we want and we will have it changed from lowercase to uppercase.

If what we want is to do the opposite, that is, to go from upper case to lower case, we will do the same process, but in reverse. We will have to select the word and uncheck the capital button. In this way, we can change the words (upper or lower case), without having to delete that word or several words.

And as we always tell you, if you found this information useful, don't forget to share it on your favorite social networks. We are APPerlas and we are willing to make the most of your bitten apples.
