BAROMETER
The barometer measures atmospheric pressure to calculate your relative altitude. Now you can know exactly what you have climbed, be it the top of a mountain or the stairs at home. This is very interesting since our devices automatically use it to measure, together with the accelerometer and gyroscope, your steps, the distance traveled and changes in altitude. Without a doubt, the perfect fatigue companion.
It is an app that we will probably only use to test the new barometer that comes standard with new iOS devices, although there will be people who leave it installed on their terminals.
THE NEW IPHONE 6, 6 PLUS AND IPAD AIR 2 BAROMETER:
Basically it is an app with which we can measure heights. By resetting the height that appears on the main screen and setting it to zero, we can calculate any ascent we make, no matter how short it may be. We tell you that just by lifting the iPhone with your arm, it already calculates the meters that we ascend the device is impressive.

OUR OPINION ABOUT BAROMETER:
We sincerely tell you that it has been an application that we have downloaded out of pure curiosity, and to see how the barometer of our iPhone 6 works. As of today we have uninstalled it since it does not provide us with any information that we want to see.
The iPhone, when automatically tracking our steps, distance, altitude climbed, the truth is that it is there where we see what really matters to us, the altitude we have climbed . We don't need the Barometer application. Of course, when we want to measure the height of a monument we climb, the mountain we ascend, the floor we live on, we will install it ?
Surely there will be people who are interested in having this application, but surely it is a small group that will use it for sports, weather issues, something that is represented to us in the sports apps we use or in the Same he alth app as the new iOS 8.
Work, works great. We have tried it and the truth is that it tells us, exactly, the meters that we ascend. For example, if before going up in an elevator, or stairs, we respect and reset the meters. We will be able to calculate the height that we are going to climb and, in this way, we will be able to know at what height, for example, our apartment is from the street floor.
