At first I was planning to buy it by the end of November, but seeing the criticism it received and when I went to see it in a store, I fell in love with it and I couldn't resist.
I was thinking of buying the iPhone 6 PLUS which I love, but I found it a bit cumbersome to use as a mobile.I'm also not a person who spends all day working, playing games or watching movies on my smartphone, so I opted for the iPhone 6 16GB in black.
I had to wait a few days until I received it, but the wait was worth it. When you open the box, I recommend you do it calmly because it is so pressurized that when it is uncovered and hit the lid, it always seems that the iPhone is going to fall to the ground, as happened to the first iPhone 6 buyer in the world.
How line is unparalleled. It is really fine and the materials used in it are of very high quality. The screen, with its curved corners, is beautiful but it has a but you won't be able to put a screen protector on it that covers the entire screen. It's something that annoyed us to know at first, but you get used to it later.
A con that I have taken from the design of this new iPhone 6 , is the power off button that we have on the side of the iPhone.I find it difficult to turn off without pressing the volume buttons since every time I go to do it, since I hold the phone from both sides with one hand, when I press the power button I also press the volume buttons that are on the opposite side , which is not very funny to me.
Regarding autonomy, it is very good, a charge lasts 2 days for me. The use that I give to the iPhone is the normal use that a person can give to a mobile. What I have done is optimize it and configure it to save consumption. For this I followed this tutorial .
I arrive very tight but it lasts almost two days. I disconnect it from the electrical network when I wake up and put it to charge, not the next night, but the next night, it's a joy.
As for the protections that I have bought, I have to tell you that I have put a silicone back from the Muvit brand, which cost me about €10.
For the screen, this year I decided to try the tempered glass instead of the typical plastic protection that I've been using forever. The tempered glass cost me around €20 and I couldn't be happier. Although it does not cover the entire screen, nothing is noticeable and it has a very different feel to that of the plastic protection. It gives the feeling that it does not have any protector, unless you look at the device against the light. In addition, it is very easy to apply and does not leave a single bubble.
Also this year I have taken out specific insurance for the iPhone 6 . I pay €35 per quarter and it covers EVERYTHING. I'll put up with it for 6-9 months and then I'll give it up.

I was very clear that my iPhone was going to be the 6 and not the 6 Plus, basically for a reason and that is that I see the 5.5″ as too big to give it a daily use. A iPhone that we use daily, has to be practical or that's my philosophy.
I opted for the iPhone 6 Silver (Silver), I had the 4S in white and I wanted to continue in this line, I also have an iPad in white, so It looks perfect with my new iPhone. My version is 16GB, more or less for the same reasons as Mariano, and that is that I don't like to have games or videos on my device , if I want to do any of these 2 things, I have its big brother (iPad), which will be happy to do this function.
And what can I tell you how it is on the outside PERFECT! To date, it is one of the most well-finished Smartphones that I have seen.It is incredible how glass and metal merge into one, with those rounded curves. When you hold it in your hand, it gives you a feeling of firmness, which makes me laugh at all those who bend it. For all of them, I ask you a question: If you try to fold a Galaxy S4 or S5 in half, what happens?
Let's talk about protection. I currently have it protected with a plastic screen protector, which, as Mariano rightly says, does not reach the edge, but is not appreciated at all. Also, I'd rather see a little, than have a completely scratched screen for life. Then I have a hard silicone cover / shell in light blue, which with the white color looks great. The good thing about these covers is that they leave the camera lens fully protected.
A very important point when buying a device with these characteristics is to have insurance. And it is that it never hurts and especially considering that the price of the insurance is thrown away.If by chance, which we hope not, the screen of the iPhone 6 breaks and you don't have insurance, prepare about €90-100. In addition, these insurances include theft, getting wet, screen breakage, everything you need to be calm.
And how does it work? Without a doubt, the part that has surprised me the most is the autonomy of the battery. Without going any further, the other day it lasted 2 days, something fantastic. The Wi-Fi connection is spectacular, you surf the internet peacefully and at incredible speed.
The but that I have to put is that Apple has not pushed the developers to adapt all the applications to the new screens. A very clear example is WhatsApp, we have an application that we use daily and the image quality leaves much to be desired. Facebook and Instagram have recently been updated and the results are fantastic, gaining a lot in speed in the case of Facebook.
Therefore, and to conclude with the summary of my precious treasure, I tell you that if you are hesitating to buy the iPhone 6 , don't think about it and take the leap now, because the experience is really worth it. Of course, if you come from a iPhone 5S, I would think about it a little more, because you won't notice much difference apart from the screen obviously and a little more speed in the device.
