We already used its first version, but it needed a facelift, new features and improvements in general to adapt to new iOS and new devices. Star Walk 2 has recently arrived and we already have it added to the apps we have installed on our devices.
This APP lets us know everything we can see with our eyes when we look at the sky. With a polished and intuitive interface, we can know anything we observe about the vast universe that surrounds us.

HOW THIS APP OF STARS, PLANETS, CELESTIAL BODIES WORKS:
We install the app and when accessing it we must give the pertinent permission so that it can locate us. In this way, you can show us the sky as we see it at that very moment, from our location.
Once the APP geolocates us, the delight begins. Raising the iPhone to the sky and moving it in the direction in which you are looking and through it being able to know the name of each star, constellation, planet and even satellite leaves us speechless. But it's not just knowing the name of any element from outer space. It also gives us information about each of them. If you are not satisfied with the description received, it will refer you to Wikipedia. Can you ask for more? It's really AWESOME.
In the corners of the screen, of this star app, we have 4 buttons with which we can:
We can press any celestial element that we fancy, by clicking on it. When doing so we will see that it is selected. Its name appears at the bottom of the screen and, if we click on it, a graphical representation of what we have selected and options will appear where we can find out much more about it. We will be able to rotate it, moving our finger over it, and we will also be able to know much more about it.
In the representation of the sky, we can zoom in and navigate through it by moving our finger across the screen.

OUR OPINION ABOUT STAR WALK 2:
One of those essential apps that should not be missing for people who like astronomy.
We used their previous version, Star Walk , but now with the new Star Walk 2 they have been surpassed and surpasses by far its predecessor.
It's wonderful to be able to look at the sky and know what star or planet it is, whatever you fancy. On the subject of constellations it is also amazing since it recreates you, with impressive images, how each one is. The truth is that we finally know what each one of them is like and the reason for their name.
But it's not all good. Now, to enjoy all the content of the app, apart from paying for the application itself, we have to make in-app purchases to be able to enjoy all the extra content and have it complete.This did not happen in Star Walk since once purchased, we had access to all the content. A negative point for this great APPerla.
But as always, we recommend it. It's really wonderful.
