After the update to iOS 8, we have found good and great news, without a doubt one of them is what we are talking about today, which is that now we can create groups in iMessage to have all our friends, family members in one conversation and thus not have to use third-party applications to carry out this process.
HOW TO CREATE A GROUP IN IMESSAGE WITH IOS 8
Before starting this tutorial, we want to remember that these groups will only work with an iOS system that is updated to the latest version, in this case iOS 8 .
Once we know this important step, we must go to the native messaging app and start a new conversation. To do this, click on the icon that we have at the top right that has the shape of "paper and pen".
After clicking on this icon, we must add contacts that we know have iOS (we can add phone numbers or email). To find out if they have an iOS system, we will see that when adding contacts, they go from being in green to becoming blue. This color tells us that we can communicate with them for free, as long as we are connected to a Wi-Fi network or have an active data plan.
As we see in the previous image, all our contacts are in blue, so we can communicate with them totally free because they have an iOS system. To finish creating a group in iMessage, we just have to write the message we want and the group will automatically be created.
Once inside the group, if we click on the DETAILS,button that appears at the top right, we can see the location of its components (if they have one enabled), rename the group, add new contacts, mute it
And in this way, we can create as many groups as we want in iMessage . But we remember once again that an essential requirement is that these contacts have iOS and above all (to create the group), they must be updated to the latest version (iOS 8).
