But, what happens if the photo is uploaded by one of our followers? In this case and if we want to save this Facebook photo in our camera roll, we must access this network social, search for the image in question and download it. A somewhat heavy process, if it involves several images. That is why we are going to teach you a little trick.

We have already talked about IFTTT , that Internet platform that works for us, just by creating a series of recipes . One of these recipes is to automatically save a photo, in which we have been tagged on Facebook, directly to our camera roll, without having to do anything. In other words, they tag us and we automatically already have that photo on our reel. Useful, right?

HOW TO SAVE A FACEBOOK PHOTO IN WHICH YOU'VE BEEN TAGGED IN YOUR CAMERA

As is evident, to carry out this process, we must have the IFTTT app installed on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Once installed and after registering, we can start creating our recipe for Facebook .

When we are in the main menu of the application, we must click on the "mortar" icon, which appears in the upper right part.

Now we will see 2 options:

Since what we want is to create a recipe, we click on the “+” symbol to add our own.

The famous IFTTT phrase (Ifthen) will appear. We will have to complete this sentence with what we want, which in this case is that we save a Facebook photo on the reel. Therefore, we click on the first “+” that appears.

We will have to search among the icons that appear above, that of Facebook. When we find it, several options will appear at the bottom. We must select the following: You are tagged in a photo.

By selecting this option, we must give the application permission to access our Facebook account. Now we must select the next function, which is to save that photo in which we have been tagged, in our reel. Therefore, click on the following symbol «+».

We must now look for the icon of the native photo app. When we find it, we will see that now the options that appear below have been reduced considerably, only one appears.

Once this last option is chosen, we will have our recipe created and ready. Also, if we look closely, an option is marked by default, so that the app notifies us when it has saved a Facebook photo on our reel.

Now every time we are tagged in a Facebook photo, we will automatically have it on our camera roll to enjoy it, without having to access this social network, which, as we have all verified, does not work at all well .
