  • Owning an iPad, have you ever thought about getting an iPhone?

Until recently I had an iPhone , which passed away hehe I'll have to get a new one.

  • What use do you give to the iPad?

I mainly use it for reading, watching videos, listening to music. Also, the iPad has become a useful tool for me to capture musical ideas, make photo edits and even record some videos.

  • What advice do you have for someone who is hesitant to buy an iOS device?

Be clear about what use you are going to give these devices. For example, an iPad still does not have the power of a computer, so it should not be expected that when editing images or sounds, the same tasks can be performed as in Photoshop, Logic or similar programs.

There are different opinions on this subject, but I think it's a matter of time before mobile devices have enough power to run programs of the caliber that I mentioned above. It's more. There are already applications that are on the right track.

  • The Apple Keynote is coming up, do you think they have a surprise in store for us?

I prefer not to have high expectations, so as not to end up “disappointed”. I think the news will come from the software. There is a rumor that iOS 8 might include high-quality audio and multitasking functionality. To ask for something, more Ram memory would not hurt.

  • Knowing that you are a user of ANDROID and iOS platforms, what are the advantages and disadvantages of each of them?

Android highlighted the open, versatile and customizable system. In iOS its performance and the quality of applications. For those of us who like to use apps to make music, the iOS platform is way ahead of Android, which brings me to one of the biggest drawbacks of Android (from my point of view) and that is fragmentation. Since there are so many devices, it makes the stability/quality of the applications not like in iOS .

As not everything is perfect, one of the disadvantages that I see for IOS is the closed system. We play by the rules that Apple imposes. Both platforms are good depending on what you want to do with them.

  • What is the app that has surprised you the most lately, when you try it on your iPad?

BIAS by PositiveGrid . It's a really cool guitar amp modeling app and it's one of the examples where I see great potential for the iOS platform.

  • 5 essential and non-native APPS for iPad:
  1. Instagram
  2. Feedly
  3. Snapseed
  4. Twitter
  5. Repix

And these are all the applications that we can find on your iPad, as we can see, it doesn't have many applications, but the few that it does have are of very good quality.
