Facebook has set out to add functions and improve its app for iOS and surprises us every week with a new version that improves on the previous one.

This new version, apart from bringing noteworthy functions, has also eliminated, specifically, an option that we used a lot and that we will miss. We tell it all below.

FACEBOOK 10.0 NEWS:

But apart from this novelty, this update brings us these others:

  • Review the appearance of your posts and choose whether to remove any suggested links before sharing what you read, see or hear.
  • Create posts even if the connection is weak or you are in airplane mode, since you can share them when the connection is restored.
  • Load News Feed faster thanks to improvements, especially on older phones and tablets.

Good improvements, especially on older devices, where we have noticed that the app works much faster than before.

As we have commented from the beginning, the most notable novelty is that of creating publications without an internet connection. This will allow us to create publications and when connecting, they will be sent automatically.

But one thing that has disappeared from the interface is choosing which posts to show on our timeline. Before, scrolling down the timeline, we would see the option to show RECENT or HEADLINES results. This option has disappeared. Now, directly, they show us the HEADLINES, so if we want to see RECENT publications we must press the option found in the news section of the app menu (access to this menu is done by pressing the button with three horizontal and parallel stripes that appears at the bottom right of the screen) .

An update with very functional news but with the elimination of an option that, at least we used a lot. Viewing the most recent posts is now much less accessible.
