Restricted Access

On Facebook, we have added many contacts. Family, friends, friends of friends in short, we get to have a lot of people who see our publications. Maybe we don't mind that our family and friends see our posts, but what about those people we hardly know and that we add to our social network.

Surely, if we look at all our friends on Facebook, we will see that we have people we have met some night that we have gone out or are friends with and that person is finding out everything we do, that is why , that Facebook can restrict our publications.

This way, only those people we decide will see what we publish.

How to activate restricted access on Facebook:

First of all, we must access the app and go directly to the settings. To do this, click on the horizontal bars that appear at the bottom right.

When we click on these little bars, we will enter the menu of our Facebook account. We just have to scroll down, until we find the "Settings" tab.

Within configuration, we must select the "Privacy" tab, where we will enter a new screen, to configure our publications, that is, restricted access on Facebook .

In this new menu, we must focus on the first section, “Who can see my stuff?”. As we can see, we have 2 options, and that we must configure according to our needs.

Gives us the option to create restricted access for future and past posts. Therefore, these are the 2 options that we are going to find in this menu:

And in this way, we can configure restricted access on Facebook. In addition to this option, we can also further configure our account, so that it is more private and not so exposed to the public. To find out how to set up your account, click HERE

CONFIGURE RESTRICTED ACCESS TO A SINGLE PERSON:

Now, to add a Facebook friend to a list, we just have to select that person and go to their wall. Once inside, we will see a section that says "Friend". We must click here.

A menu will appear in which we have to select "Edit friend lists", so we click here to locate our friend in the corresponding list.

Automatically, a list will appear from which we have to select, according to our preference. If we choose "Restricted access", you will only see what we want. Since what we want is to create a restricted access on Facebook, we press this option.

By choosing “Restricted Access”, Facebook will consider you as public.

And this is how we complete restricted access on Facebook and don't expose our posts to just anyone, a simple way to make our account more private.
