But as we have said, in iOS 7 it is another story, since we have it hidden and to access it, we just have to slide our main screen down and it automatically appears.
From this menu, we can search for any app, document, search the internet, but perhaps we don't need to search for everything, that's why they give us the option to configure the Spotlight search, so that it only searches for what we we tell him
HOW TO CONFIGURE SPOTLIGHT SEARCH ON IOS
In a few simple steps, we are going to have this menu configured to our liking, which serves as we have said, to search for any app, document, mail that we have on our device.
Therefore, the first thing we have to do is access Settings, here we must look for the "General" tab and click on it to access the general settings.
In General, if we scroll down, we will find another tab that says “Search in Spotlight”, which we will have to press to access its settings.
Once inside, we see marked all the options that we have available for your search. From here we can unmark, mark and move those that we want.
If we move any, what we do is give them priority (scroll up) or de-prioritize them (scroll down).
If we only use Spotlight to search the internet, it is convenient to deactivate all the options that are marked, in this way we save battery and gain speed.
We save battery, since our device does not have to search for files, it just has to give us the option to access the internet or search Wikipedia.
And in this simple way, as we said at the beginning, we can configure the Spotlight search in iOS. An option that we should configure, since most use this menu as an internet search engine (Google).
