When this happens, it is best to calibrate our battery so that everything works as it did at first. But if we don't know how long our battery lasts, we won't know if it's good or bad. To keep a more exhaustive control, it is better to control our consumption from “settings”.
From here we will be able to know how long we have used the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and we will also know how long we have had it resting. In this way, we will know if our battery works correctly or not.
HOW TO CONTROL BATTERY CONSUMPTION ON IOS
As we have said, this is viewed from Settings, therefore we enter the settings of our device. Once inside, we look for the General tab and enter. From here we can modify all the basics of our iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch (Siri, update, automatic lock)
Of all the options we have, we must look for the "Use" option. It will be here where we find the use that we give to the battery, as well as the space that we have occupied and free on our iOS device (applications, music, photos)
Since what we are interested in now is knowing our use with the device (we are talking about the battery), we go to the bottom of the Usage menu. And we will find 2 sections:
- Battery use : here it indicates the total hours and minutes that we have used the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch since the last charge.
- In rest : indicates the hours and minutes that we have had the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch turned on but not used, that is, blocked, since the last charge.
And this is how we can control battery consumption in iOS. In this way you will be able to know if our battery is correctly calibrated.
From our experience, we have an iPhone 4S that, on average, is about 4h 30 min. and an iPhone 5, whose average use reaches 7-7h 30 min. But it all depends on how we use our device and it can vary for each user.
And you, do you know your battery consumption in iOS?
