As we see in the image, we have 3 menus:
- Who can see my stuff?
- Who can contact me?
- How do I stop someone from bothering me?
We are going to explain menu by menu:
Who can see my stuff?
In this menu, we can configure the following:
Who can contact me?
Here, when we click on this option, we see that 3 options are displayed:
Basic Filtering:
This is the option that is marked by default and that is the one that Facebook recommends. We recommend leaving it as is, since in this way we can see the publications of our friends and people we know.
Strict Filtering:
This is the other option, and as indicated, if we choose this option we may miss posts from people we may know.
Who can send me friend requests?
This option is marked by default as "Public", we recommend leaving it that way, otherwise many people may not find us.
We can choose between public or friends of my friends .
How do I stop someone from bothering me?
This option is perhaps one of the most important, because if someone is bothering us or someone we don't want to see our posts, we can block them.
To block a contact, we see that a bar is displayed in which it says "Add a name or email", therefore we will only have to put the name of the person we do not want to bother us and Bye!!
And at the bottom, we can see all the users we have blocked, so if we want to unblock someone, we just have to enter here and unblock.
And in this way we can configure privacy on Facebook and make our account more secure and accessible only to the users we want.
