In this new version, Apple gives us the option to remove this parallax effect To do this, we have to go to change the wallpaper, and when we select it, it gives us the option to give depth (3D effect) or remove depth. The truth is that by removing the depth, we still see this 3D effect, but to a lesser extent, it is almost negligible.
The calendar app has also undergone a small change, from our point of view, it is a change for the better.And it is that now to see if we have any event, we do not have to enter within the day to see it, we just click on the day that we want to visualize and a menu will automatically be displayed below the calendar, in which we will see our event, birthday
And what about Siri ? Well, it has also undergone some improvement, and that is that now we can tell Siri exactly what we want it to hear. In other words, if we are talking to Siri and suddenly someone speaks to us, we can make them stop listening and then continue with what we were asking for.
This is done in the following way, we press the Home button (so far everything is normal), if we want to say something specific, we release the home button and that's it. But if for whatever reason, we are going to ask Siri for something and they interrupt us, we can make our voice assistant continue listening as long as we want.To do this we have to keep the Home button pressed and release it when we want it to analyze the commands.
And finally, we talk about the drums. In this aspect, our devices have also improved. The truth is that with the betas, there was some expectation in seeing the final performance and I think it has been a bit disappointing, since it has not improved as much as expected.
OUR OPINION OF IOS 7.1:
The truth is that this is a perfect operating system, we will have to wait and see how it responds over the days, but after having been "tinkering" with it for a whole day, we have to say that we liked it a lot.
For iPhone 4 users, without a doubt this update will make your device hook you again like the first day, because its performance is spectacular. And for the rest of the users, they will notice a greater fluidity of their device as well as a greater speed in the transitions.
As for the battery, as we have already said, we expected more, it is true that it has improved, but perhaps not as much as expected. We have not noticed any improvement in an iPhone 4S, however in an iPhone 5, we have noticed a slight improvement.
We have also noticed that they have corrected the failure of background tasks, that is, the icon no longer stays hanging when we close an app .
