Disadvantages
The biggest disadvantage we found is that it is completely in English, so when configuring the app, it is a bit complicated (if you want to configure it step by step, go HERE).
Another point against it, its price may be €3.59, it is a bit expensive, but if we listen to podcasts daily, it is highly recommended to pay for it.
- DOWNCAST
We are talking about another of the best podcast apps, it is really good, although practically the same as its main competitor (Pocket Casts). As for its design, it is very good, but it may not be as visually pleasing to look at as Pocket Casts. In its favor we have to say that it is very pretty, and everything is very well organized, which makes its operation very simple.
We noticed that the Streaming broadcast is somewhat slower than in Pocket Casts. Do you notice it too?
We think Downcast bred fame and went to sleep. It has been the best podcast app for a long time and has not contributed anything new for a while, except for the change of interface to iOS 7. This has led to the competition taking over.

The advantages that we find in this app are very similar to those of Pocket Casts

The biggest disadvantage we found in this podcast app is that its great competitor after updating to iOS 7, from our point of view, has eaten a lot of ground.
Another point against it is that it is entirely in English, although its price is slightly cheaper (€2.69).
- PODCASTS
We are talking about Apple's commitment to podcasts, this is their app. If what we are looking for is a podcast app that does the basics, this app is perfect. With it we will have all the podcasts to which we are subscribed and little else. As we have said, its strong point is simplicity.
If we have to highlight something about this app, it's that it does what it says, and it does it quite well. And it should be noted that it is totally free.

Disadvantages
Perhaps its biggest disadvantage is that it is too simple, it is so simple, that it lacks many functions. With it we do the basics, so if we are starting in the world of podcasts, we can start with this app.
These are for us the best podcast apps. It may be that we are missing some other app, but to date these are the best we have tried.
Perhaps we could see Apple's podcasts app replaced by any other, but we think it deserves special attention, since it's free and because it does what it says.
OUR VERDICT
For us, the big winner is Pocket Casts. From the first moment we have loved this app, as we have already said, visually it is perfect. It is very easy to use and we cannot ask for more.
