HOW TO KNOW WHO IS CONNECTED TO MY WIFI:

To find out, we must be connected to our WIFI network and execute a new scan by pressing, on the main screen of the app, the "Update" button that is located in the upper right part of the screen in the shape of an arrow in the shape of a circle.

After this, a report of the devices that are connected to our internet network will appear.

The information that appears to us is the following:

First of all, and with a greenish background, the name of our network appears (in our case CHUMO) and the connections in it (in our example there are 6)

Below we see all the connected devices. The first of all and with a WIFI symbol is our connection. Under this, we already see all the connected "devices" among which our device marked with a "YOU" stands out.

If when counting we see more connections than we have at home, we can start to think that someone is connected to your WIFI.

We recommend that you make sure that all your devices are connected to your network. To do this, we would check one by one, connecting and disconnecting to the network, and labeling them in FING since the name does not appear for many of them.

We check and when we know which is which, we click on the corresponding connection and name it.In addition, by clicking on a connection we can add notes and if we click on the WIFI connection we can access much more information about it, such as open ports.

If after this we see that there are connections that are not from any of our "devices", we recommend you change your WIFI password.

To do this you will have to access your ROUTER from a computer (putting 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your browser. The password and username is normally ADMIN and ADMIN or 1234 and 1234) and from the WIFI option, choose the option "SECURITY" and where it says password you must change it for another. Once this is done, you will have to change the password to access your network for all your devices, since they will be left out of the network.

OUR OPINION ON FING:

An interesting application to take away installed on our iPhone and iPad, for the analysis of WIFI networks and that helps me to know which devices are connected to my WIFI.

You can get much more out of it, but only people who master this type of connection can get the most out of it 100%. With knowing the connections we have in the WIFI network to which we are connected, we have plenty.

We tell you that in our case this app helped us a lot to see that in a family network, a neighbor was connected to it. It is not very difficult to do it since there are tweaks, like for example iWEP-PRO,that help you to do it.

We recommend you install it and we advise you to perform scans from time to time. And you know, if you see any connection to your network that doesn't work, change the password immediately.

The question to Who is connected to my WIFI?, already has an answer thanks to the FING app.
