The old version of TWEETBOT disappeared after the appearance of the new TWEETBOT 3, something that many users of this great TWITTER client did It tasted really bad to us and, thinking that the old Tweetbot would be stagnant and would not receive updates again, we immediately decided to download the new app.
Now, the application developer company, has re-uploaded to the APP STORE the old version of TWEETBOT, now called TWEETBOT 2and which we can re-download by paying €2.69.
Sales strategy? Have you republished the old app due to user pressure? We don't know but it was, in our opinion, a trick.
IS IT WORTH CHANGING THE OLD VERSION OF TWEETBOT 2 FOR THE NEW TWEETBOT 3?
We, and after the new updates suffered by both apps, we can tell you that we do not believe that going from the old version to the new one is a big change.
The change between one and the other is visual, where version 3 is fully integrated into iOS 7, and performance, since it is noticeably more agile and faster than version 2.

But we can also say that the old Tweetbot has functions and services that the new one does not have, such as the option to send notes through a tweet, as we discussed in this article.
So that you can see that the new TWEETBOT 3 was not meeting the expectations of its users, in its latest update they have added improvements, as if they were new, of functions that we already used in the old Tweetbot and that were very useful to us , such as access to the lists by clicking on the name of the « TIMELINE «.
It's up to the user, but we don't think the change is worth paying €2.69 for an application that only changed the interface and improved performance a little.
Do you feel cheated? We a little yes, since they could have renewed the interface without the need to recreate a new app. They have sold us a new APP that has only been adapted to iOS 7. Many applications have renewed their interface without having to do what they have done since TAPBOTS.
