We are going to talk about a new option that brings the DO NOT DISTURB function in iOS 7. As you can see, we continue with our tutorials to get the most out of iOS 7 and share them with all of you.

A while ago we told you how to USE THE DO NOT DISTURB FUNCTION, one of the options that iOS brings and that we love.

Now with the arrival of iOS 7 , this function brings us a new feature that is very useful.

NEW DO NOT DISTURB FEATURE IN IOS 7:

Before this function only worked when we had the device locked. At that time we prevented any type of notification or call from reaching us, unless it was urgent.

When unlocking the iPhone or iPad, notifications began to arrive and the DO NOT DISTURB mode stopped working, something that people, like us, did not like very much.

Now the DO NOT DISTURB of iOS 7 brings a new option with which we can activate the function completely or leave it only to act when the device is locked.

As you can see in the photo above, we have two options:

  • ALWAYS: Incoming calls and notifications will be silenced whether the iPhone is locked or unlocked.
  • ONLY WITH LOCKED iPHONE: Incoming calls and notifications will be muted if iPhone is locked.

In this way, if we choose to activate the "ALWAYS" option, even if we are using the iPhone, we will not receive any type of notification or call, unless the latter is urgent and we have it configured for it.

A new feature that at APPerlas.com we highly value since there are moments of the day when you like to be quietly with your iPhone or iPad playing games, listening to music, watching videos, searching the internet without anyone bothering you.

Do you like this new feature in the DO NOT DISTURB mode in iOS 7 ?
