Today we are going to explain how to find the location where you have parked your car, thanks to a new option brought to us by the native app MAPAS.
Now, thanks to iOS 7, the possibility of being able to record the location where you have parked your vehicle has been added, so as not to give us scares when it comes to finding it or returning to it. That of parking somewhere unknown and then not knowing where we parked will go down in history thanks to this new feature.
We, on our last visit to Madrid, forgot where we parked our car and we assure you that it took us forever to find it. This will not happen to us again since we will use our iPhone as a parking spot locator.
HOW TO SAVE THE LOCATION WHERE YOU HAVE PARKED YOUR VEHICLE:
To save the location where you have parked your car, motorcycle, van, the first thing we must do is enter the MAP app, being in the place where we have parked. Once inside it we will follow the following steps:
Once located by the app (a blue dot will appear) we will click on the "i" button that appears at the bottom right of the screen.
Within the menu that appears, we will press the PUT MARKER option. In this way it will save the location until we want or put another marker.
By doing this we already have the location where you parked saved.
When it's time to return to the parking spot, if you don't remember the route you should follow, you should open the MAP app and look for the marker you left marked. To find it easily, we recommend that you zoom out of the image and get a broader view of the map.
As soon as you locate the marker, all you have to do is click on the blue icon, which appears on the left side of the location bubble, so that the iPhone indicates the route to follow to reach your vehicle.
The blue button that we must click to show us the path to follow, can be characterized by a CAR or a PERSON. This informs us of the way in which we want to do the route, whether by car or on foot. If the vehicle icon appears but you really want to do the route on foot, you should go to SETTINGS/MAPS and configure it in the PREFERRED ROUTES category.
Easy right? We hope we have helped you get more out of your iOS device.
