Yesterday WHATSAPP incorporated a new function in the app's interface with which we can now emulate a WALKIE-TALKIE for iPhone and send spoken messages to our contacts.
As you can see in the previous photo, on the right side of the box where we wrote the message, a button with a microphone has been enabled, which if we hold down we can send the spoken messagethat we want.
Once pressed you will see how a blinking red microphone appears on the opposite side of the new button, with a counter. When this happens it will record any sound that is being emitted near the iPhone.
If we press the button but we retract it and we don't want to send anything, we must, without releasing it, slide our finger to the left. This will cancel the shipment.
When we receive it, we can listen to the message with the device's speaker, or if we want people around us not to know what they are saying, we just have to bring it close to our ear so that only we can hear it .
When receiving multiple audio messages we can know which ones we have heard by looking at a little icon that appears in the lower right part of our contact's photo.
If the icon is green it means we haven't heard it, but if it's blue it means we have heard it.
Without more, we hope to have resolved all doubts regarding this new service that WhatsApp provides us and we remain at your disposal in case you have any type of doubt. If you have any kind of doubt, we encourage you to leave us a comment on this post, which we will respond to as soon as possible.
