- Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? If you have a website or blog about APPLE products, tell us about it. In general, tell us a little about yourself and your work.
Regardless of this, we have a page indatruck.com and asesoriadeltransporte.com.
I don't have a blog, due to lack of time, although in my opinion I think it was a very good tool, but today, with the "intoxication" of information we receive, except for reference pages and blogs in my field , the rest I do not delve into excessively.
At work, we have 14 computers and a server, and as PCs die, I replace them with virtualized 27” iMacs at Parallels, and they haven't given me any problems. Some have their "old years", but minimal problems, something that PCs give us many.
The truth is that every worker who has a PC, I'm joking, it seems that he wants it to "die" and we put an iMac on them. Better performance, screen, no noise and feeling of having more and better space on each table.
- How did you come to the APPLE world?
I came to the world APPLE when Windows had the fantastic idea to put the “Vista”. Although the work environment is with WINDOWS SERVER, I have always been a "pioneer" in the company of putting the new operating system ahead, and Vista was disastrous for me, compared to XP.
The same company that maintains and manages our computers and servers told me: "buy an iMac and try it." If I remember correctly, it was in 2007.
I did so and virtualized the two operating systems, they added 16gb of RAM, and the machine was perfect.
I thought, at that time, that the Mac world was not going to serve me much, but I was investigating it, and currently and with the help of Mac Office for companies, I rarely go to Windows virtualization . Only the INFOLEX program (professional program for this type of company) is the one I use in Windows.
I now have 3 iMacs at work, another order, and at home, I have a new 21″ iMac, a MacBook Air i7, and a MacMini that I use as a media center, and “hard drive”
Also an apple TV, a "second hand" Time Capsule that works great. Also an iPod Nano, the old one, that I use as a watch.
- What made you choose Iphone instead of another mobile?
I have always had Nokia, many models, especially the "E" models that are more intended for companies, but with the advancement of technology, and synchronization were left behind. I tried a BB, but the problem was still there, so I tried the iPhone 2 that they brought me from the US.
I liked it, and from there, I went to 3, to 3GS (a wonder), and currently, I have 3 iPhone 4 for the company, 2 iPhone 4S and an iPhone 5, which died in an accident, although I It is covered by insurance, and I have told them to "keep" it until the 5S or 6 that are about to arrive comes out.
Being honest, the one that has given me the most versatility and performance has been the iPhone 4S. Battery, duration and speed enough.
From the iPhone 5, I have to say that it is beautiful and amazing quality, but I had to change it twice in three months. That's why the insurance thing, I'll wait for 5S or 6.
- Which 5 apps would you never get rid of?
– EVERNOTE – OMNIFOCUS – GMAIL - WHATSAPP – WEEK CAL HD
There are more, but I'd go for the "non-natives" for those.
- Are you PRO JAILBREAK? Whether you answer yes or no, why?
I have never put JAILBREAK in, not because I was against it, but because of my work environment. Everything is synchronized with the servers and putting the JL in it would give me problems and leave my devices "uninsured" and more in a business environment.
I have to say, I go "crazy" and "fiddle" an iPhone with JL, but she's like that girl you like so much, but you can't "invite or touch" her. Hahaha.
- Own an iPad? If you have it, what apps would you highlight on this device?
I have my son's iPad2 and it's full of games; and i have ipad 3 retina. I had the ipad 1 too.
This iPad, for my company functions and my environment, works great for me, and it's more than enough for me. I had thought about the iPad 4 or iPad Mini, but they are not going to give me a better performance than the one I have, and I am satisfied as I am.
The applications that I highlight are the previous ones that I have told you about plus Instagram, Tweebot, Tomtom, Pocket, iPhoto, Google+, Dropbox, PDF Expert, Cleaner and Line.
