Press the « HOME » button and it takes us to the main screen of the app in which, as you can see below, there is nothing.
We simply have an information button, at the top right of the screen, with which we can access the tutorial that originally appeared to us.
As we download compressed files with this application, they will be listed on that main screen and we can access them whenever we want.
HOW TO SEE ZIP FILES WITH THE FREE WINZIP APP:
We can open files from two different platforms, by email or through a web browser:
– MAIL:
When we receive an attached file in ZIP format, we can view it by clicking directly on it. It will immediately start downloading.
After waiting for its download, click on it again and the option to open it through the WINZIP application will appear. We press it.
We will see the files that make up the compressed file and by clicking on the one we want we can view it and make use of it, by clicking on the "OPEN IN" button, in any of the apps that appear on the list .
– WEB BROWSER:
When clicking on a ZIP file in the SAFARI browser of our device, this screen will appear.
Click on the "OPEN IN" button and select the WINZIP option.
The application will open and show us the files that make up this compressed file.
Click on the one we want and then click on the "OPEN IN" button we can perform the action we want on the file. We can even open it with other apps.
CONCLUSION:
An almost essential application on our iOS devices. In addition, we have WINZIP for free, so it will not affect our pocket to download this application.
But it has a negative characteristic, it is not yet adapted to the iPhone 5 screen. It is not that it is decisive for its use, but it would be nice if they update the application for the new APPLE terminal.
