– DISCOVER OPTION:
If we let the app geoposition us and using the different search services it has, it will tell us which places of interest are near us according to the chosen service.
Searches are based on photos, comments, tweets, information that is located near us.VERY INTERESTING. All the information that appears to us is accompanied by a small compass that tells us the distance that separates us from the indicated place and the direction. Said compass rotates as we move or rotate the iPhone.
The interface of this menu is made up of different buttons that we explain below:
- Upper left button of the screen: Returns us to the home screen of the app.
- Upper right button of the screen (characterized as an eye): It allows us to choose three different types of views of the results.
- Middle part of the screen: Search results are located.
- Part under the search results: We have a scroll where we can see and select the search service we want.
- Tab located at the bottom left of the screen: It will give us information about our location. It shows us on a map and we can even share it, on various platforms, with the "SHARE" button that appears at the bottom left.
If we click on any of the results, we will access more detailed information about its location.
You have to highlight the options that bring us below the general information that it details at the beginning and that we detail later in this article.

– SEARCH OPTION:
The other option offered by the app on its main screen is "SEARCH".
In it we can find places based on some categories that appear to us or by searching, from the search engine that we see at the top of the screen, anything we want.
Once we have chosen a category or something in the search engine, the results will appear according to the search service we have chosen.
The operation of the « SEARCH « option is similar to that of the « DISCOVER « option.
The only thing that changes are the search services where we can enjoy some new ones that do not appear in the "DISCOVER" menu.
HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS LOCATOR ON IPHONE:
We already know more or less how this application works and what it is for. With it, basically, we can discover new places of interest or search for specific locations.
But what can we do with the information it gives us about each place?
With this info we can:
- MAP OR COMPASS: By clicking on them we can enlarge the map and see both our location and that of the chosen place. In the upper right part we can open the iOS MAP app to configure, for example, the route to get there.
- MORE DETAILS: Depending on the search service we have chosen, detailed information about the place will appear based on that service. When we choose FOURSQUARE this appears
- ACTIONS: We can obtain directions by opening the iOS MAP app or establish the place we are looking for as our location.
- SAVE: Gives us the option to save the searched place in CONTACTS along with your phone, email, location. It also gives us the option to create a reminder for that place.
- SHARE: We can share the location of the searched place, by email, Twitter, Facebook, message We can also do the same with the web link of said place.
CONCLUSION:
Spectacular interface, wonderful functionality, great database. What more could we want from a locator on iPhone?
For us it is the most complete app in its category.
