As followers of his podcasts, we have to say that Fernando is as nice as he appears to be on his live broadcasts. He exudes positivity, kindness and, above all, camaraderie.
Without further ado we leave you with the interviewAPP:
Introduction:
People know me as Fernando del Moral, I'm 21 years old, and I've lived in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) since I was born.
Tell us about yourself, your projects :
Currently I am involved in several interesting projects that satisfy my passion for technology and especially for the world of Apple. As a Podcaster I started in March 2012 with the podcast "Currante en Vodafone", a podcast where I talked about technology while providing the vision of a worker in a telephone company. Months later I was fired, but the BOOM for the podcast was so big that everyone knew me as "Currante" and I decided to keep the name.
Back in November 2012, I had the first opportunity to make a quality leap in the world of podcasting, since I joined the Apple 5×1 podcast, a technology program focused on the world of Apple, with a unique professional touch and with a format not seen in any competing podcast.
Podcast that today is broadcast in 16 countries, in their respective languages.
To this day I'm still on Apple 5×1, a podcast where I learn new things every day while my aspirations in the world of podcasting continue to grow together with Juanjo, my great support from the beginning.
Since the end of January I ventured into the world of Youtube , making videos in which I expressed everything I said in my "Currante" podcasts but in video format. Talking about applications, cydia tweaks, news, etc.
Almost at the same time, I came up with the idea of organizing a weekly program broadcast live on YouTube en titled "APPLE FRIDAY" where we would bring weekly guests to discuss current issues. weekly.
After the audience success of the first two broadcasts, Sergio Navas and I (organizers of the first two programs) decided to give it a format and have two new colleagues with whom to move the program forward, then the first name that What came to mind was Juanjo Muñoz, my greatest support in the world of podcasting (Who better than him to carry this out?), along with Juanjo. Alberto Garayoa joined the squad and as the days passed we shaped the program.which today is a complete success.
Since March 2013 I have been combining these projects with a podcast dedicated to Formula 1 en titled « FormulaCast «.
What will the future hold for me? I have no idea, but I love living the present that I have, full of projects and dreams.
How did you get into the Apple world?:
My first contact with Apple products came from the 2nd generation iPod Touch, a very positive experience since I was able to get the most out of that device and currently it continues to hold up like a champion, since I inherited it my girl and there she continues to hold on.
After that fantastic experience I got an iPhone 3G with which I am still amazed and with which it lasted a short time since I experienced problems with the battery. That's when I tried the GALAXY range and had my first contact with Android, a positive experience but not as perfect as the one I had with iOS, to which I returned with the iPhone 4S, later with the iPhone 5 and so on until now.
I would also like to add that during my journey with Android I had the iPod Touch 4G , which perfectly complemented the shortcomings of my Android .
As for computers and tablets, I haven't had the pleasure of trying anything from Apple, but I don't rule out doing so in the not too distant future.
What made you choose iPhone?:
Mainly the user experience, the fact that I tried an iPod Touch and that it had a greater fluidity than my Samsung Galaxy S was something indicative of what I could have with an iPhone. I can't forget the applications too, without a doubt much better on iOS than on Android, to the point that, on more than one occasion, I used my Galaxy to tether my iPod Touch 4G and use the Galaxy only for calls, something exaggerated I know, but I was simply amazed.
Then the aesthetics of all Apple products are so well cared for that it makes carrying one in your hand a privilege.
I could keep counting but I don't want to bore you anymore, haha.
Does my fanaticism show? jur, jur.
What 5 apps would you not get rid of?:
No doubt: WhatsApp , Twitter , Downcast , Any.Do , Dropbox .
In addition, this last one on more than one occasion has prevented me from having to plug my iPhone into the PC (Windows) to pass a photo, video, etc. Therefore, a total comfort.
Fernando del Moral Are you pro Jailbreak?:
Puff, what a dilemma. My partner Juanjo (Apple 5×1) often asks me if I have it on or not, to the point of making him dizzy since as soon as he neglects it I have it on or off.
Currently I have it done on my iPhone 5, since I have always been a defender of Jailbreak, I think it offers us many possibilities to get more out of our device, although I cannot deny that this latest one from Evasi0n is giving me more of a headache, especially in relation to battery.
Since I upgraded my iPhone 4S to iOS 6 (the day it was officially released), I lost the Jailbreak and until it was released a couple of months ago I learned to cover those needs that it brought me, even so it's always much more comfortable to have it installed on the device. Currently I am not considering getting rid of it, perhaps a time to consider it is iOS 7, we will see what those of Cupertino present to us.
Do you own an iPad?:
No, I currently don't have the pleasure of owning one. That if, as I said before, I do not rule out having one in a not too distant period. Perhaps the iPad mini with retina display (if it comes out) could be a good opportunity.
After the interview, we present the APPerlas that Fernando has installed on his iPhone:
Now we show you the apps that he has in his numerous folders.
Without further ado, we send a big hug to Fernando and we thank him from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of us and spending a little of his little time available to answer us.
We advise you to visit all the projects in which he is involved. They offer very good content and you will learn a lot about the APPLE world that fascinates so many of us.
A hug!!!
