We find the following menus:
- ANYWHERE: We can add actions so that they act whatever screen we are on.
- ON THE HOME SCREEN: We can add actions so that they act only when we are on the home screen.
- IN AN APPLICATION: We can add actions so that they act only when we are inside an application.
- ON THE LOCK SCREEN: We can add actions so that they act only when we are on the lock screen of our device.
- MORE ACTIONS: We can add various Cydia tweaks that are recommended to us as actions.
- DONATE: We can donate money to the creator of this fantastic TWEAK .
- MENUS: We will create custom menus. An option that we love and that we will explain later.
- BLACK LIST: We will be able to say in which applications not to execute any of the actions that we have configured.
- RESET SETTINGS: We will return to the primary ACTIVATOR settings. Good option when the tweak fails or we get messy.
- ASSIGNMENTS: It shows us at a glance the actions we have configured. From this menu we can even make a backup copy.
- SHOW ICON: It will allow us to show the icon on our springboard. If you want to remove it, it doesn't matter since we can access to configure the tweak from SETTINGS .
HOW TO CONFIGURE AN ACTION?
The first thing we will have to decide is where we want the action to take place, since depending on the place we will choose one of the four locations that the menu shows us. As we have said before, we can execute actions "anywhere", on the "home screen", "in an application" or on the "lock screen".
Once the place has been chosen, we will click on it (we click on “ANY PLACE” to show an example) and access the following menu:
The places where we can perform the gesture appear and below them the amount of actions we can perform in each place:
- STATUS BAR (bar that appears at the top of the screen and where the clock is located, among other things): An infinite number of gestures appear, such as swiping to right, double tap left, short press, double tap We will choose the gesture or action that we want and we will assign the app or system action that we want to it.(Ex: if we want the "calculator" to appear when we give "double tap" on the status bar, we only have to assign that application to that action)
- HOME BUTTON: Gestures to configure using the "HOME" button of our device.
- SLEEP BUTTON: Actions to configure using the "ON" button of our device.
- VOLUME BUTTONS: Gestures to configure using the volume buttons of our iPhone, iPad or iPod TOUCH .
- CHARGER: Action to execute when we plug or unplug the charger.
- SLIDE WITH TWO FINGERS: Action to be executed by sliding two fingers across the screen, in different directions.
- MULTI-TOUCH GESTURE: Actions when executing gestures with more than two fingers on the device screen.
- SLIDE GESTURES: Actions to execute if we drag the screen from any of its frames.
- HEADSET: Actions on headphones.
- MOTION: Shake the device and launch the app or action you want.
- LOCK SCREEN: Double-tap the clock on the lock screen and enter an action.
- SPRINGBOARD: Pinch or spread the icons on the screen with two fingers and launch the action or app you want.
In some of the places where to execute an action, we will see that the variety of gestures to be carried out is widened, or shortened. These that we have shown you belong to the "ANYWHERE" menu.
Easy right? The only thing that we must be careful with is to avoid that some actions “step on” others. We warn you that there are TWEAKS that when installed use some ACTIVATOR action to execute, such as the well-known SBSETTINGS and to which we will dedicate a review shortly.
WHAT ARE THE MENUS?
In one of the menus that we have described before, the option « MENUS » appeared with which we could configure personalized menus.
This is one of the functions that we like the most about this tweak since it gives you the possibility that when executing an action, whatever it is, a drop-down appears in which we choose the shortcuts that we configure .
We enter that option and this appears:
We will add a new one and name it. Once created, we enter it by clicking on it and we will add the actions and/or apps that we want.
Once created, we must assign the action to execute our menu, in any of the places that Activator offers us. We have chosen that it appears when we double-click on the status bar on the home screen. The result will be this:
Infinite possibilities offered by this Cydia "app" and that we have tried to explain to you as best as possible.
We hope it helps you configure your iOS device to your liking.
