Surely many of you have documents that you would like to always have at hand because of how often you consult them, such as quadrants, Word documents, Excel documents
Me, for example, when working shifts many times I have to check my schedule to know what days I have off, what afternoons I have free to organize my personal and family schedule.
That is why I have created a shortcut on the home screen of my iPhone with which I can directly access my work quadrant, as you can see below:
To create an icon of this type, on the screen of any iOS device, we must:
- First create an account on the DROPBOX platform and download the application DROPBOX in our terminal.
- Upload the document to said platform, which we recommend you do from the WEB www.dropbox.com. Log in and upload the files you want.
- Once uploaded, we go to our iPhone or iPad and access the DROPBOX application. We log in and view our documents.
- Click on the file to which we want to create a shortcut on the screen of our device.
- Selected and viewing it, we will click on the button that appears in the lower left part.
- Click on the option « COPY LINK «
- We go to SAFARI and paste said link in the web address bar and access it.
- We will see a button that will say "DOWNLOAD". We puncture it.
- The document, or file, will appear on the screen.
- Then we will click on the bottom button « SHARE «.
- We will select "ADD TO HOME SCREEN".
- We name it whatever we want.
Once this is done, we already have a shortcut on our device, along with all the applications we have installed.
Did you like it? It is very useful and you can create a direct access to any file that you have hosted in your DROPBOX account.
