Once clicked we will select “ADD TO HOME SCREEN”.
We name it and press the upper right button « ADD «.
Once all this is done, we will have it available on the SPRINGBOARD of our device.
Once installed, to start using it we must enter the webapp and use the search engine to find information regarding the application we want to obtain information from.
As an example we are going to look for the FACEBOOK application to find out a little more about what it does with the information we generate when using it. The following result appears:
If we view the result in « OVERVIEW », as in the previous image, it provides us with the data in a schematic way. If we click on « DETAILS » we can see each of the data provided explained.
Reading the details of each of the 5 results that have appeared, we can see that this app:
- Uses encryption to store some or all of your data securely.
- You can track your location. It can continue to do so for a set period of time, even after you close the app. Like any app that uses Location Services, you will be asked for permission on first use.
- Integrates with Facebook so you can share content with your friends
- Can read contact list. Many applications have a reasonable reason to do so in order to provide the service. Some apps don't.
- Tracks us anonymously.
As you will see, it is in English, so if we are not fluent in this language, we can always use the APPerla GOOGLE TRANSLATOR to translate the information.
Undoubtedly a very good WEBAPP to find out a little more about what our applications do with the information we generate.
