In it, a menu appears in which we can search for the station that we want, through the search engine located at the top of the screen or through the different options that appear:
- Local Radio: It will show us the stations in our area.
- Recent: A list of the last stations listened to will appear.
- Trends: A list of the most listened to stations of the moment will appear.
- Recommended: It will recommend stations based mainly on our favorite stations.
- Music: It will show us a list of styles from which we can choose the station we want.
- Sport: List of stations that broadcast sports information.
- News: It will show us a list of stations that broadcast news.
- Spoken: Some categories appear (comedy, conservative, consumer & technology) where we can choose the one we want to access the stations related to the chosen category.
- By location: We will select continent, country and population to know the stations that broadcast in that area or place.
- By language: We will choose radios that broadcast in a certain language.
- Podcast: Great selection of Podcasts, categorized, where we can choose the one we like the most.
In the upper left part we see that we have the icon with the image of a car. If we press it, we access the « CAR MODE » interface, very useful if we go by car or for other situations that require our attention. We have much more intuitive and easy access.
When we are playing a radio channel, a button will appear in the upper right part called "PLAYING NOW" with which we can immediately access the player.
We return to the main screen and look, now, at the menu that we have at the bottom. In it, the buttons « FAVORITES «, « NAVIGATE » and « SETTINGS « stand out.
- FAVORITES: The stations that we catalog as favorites will be brought together. This is done by pressing a heart that will appear on the main screen of the station we are listening to. We will also have access to our favorite songs (an option available on some stations) in which through this option we can access to buy it or listen to stations that usually broadcast it.
- NAVIGAR: This menu has already been explained. It is the main screen where we disembark and where we can choose the radio channel we want to listen to.
- SETTINGS: Part in which we can access to configure different aspects of the app. We will be able to access the car mode, log in to the TUNEIN RADIO platform, see the use of data that we have spent, reset statistics, access the application support and go to the "ADVANCED" option where we can configure the APPerla to our liking ( Everything is well explained in that section. If you have any doubts about any setting, don't hesitate to tell us).
We choose a station and press it to play it. When doing so, the playback interface appears:
In it we can see options everywhere. If you do not see them, tap on the screen and you will see how the options appear or disappear.
At the top we have two buttons:
- Button « BACK «: Characterized with an arrow pointing to the left. With it we will return to the menu or screen we were in before entering the player.
- Button « FAVORITE «: We can catalog the station we are listening to, or the song, as favorites, which will allow us to have quick access to it from the FAVORITES menu before commented.
Under these, the playback line will appear with the share buttons (in different social networks and email) and the options (button with three dots and lines) with the that we can:
- Update to the PRO version: We will access the purchase of the paid version of TUNEIN RADIO .
- Report a problem: We will have the possibility to report any type of problem caused by the station we are listening to.
- Choose transmission: We can choose the quality with which we want the audio to be reproduced. The higher the quality, the higher the data consumption.
- View programming: In many radio stations we can view the programming that they have broadcast and are going to broadcast.
- View playlist: Gives us the option to view the songs that have been played on the station we are listening to (some stations do not have this option).
- Clock display: We can display the iPhone clock superimposed on the application interface.
- Schedule Alarm: For it to sound we must leave the app in the background. The alarm that we configure will appear in the player with the icon of a clock.
- Automatic shutdown counter: The broadcast that we have in force will automatically turn off at the time we stipulate. It will appear in the player with the name "SLEEP".
- See web page: We will access the website of the station we are listening to.
- See twitter page: We will display the TWITTER profile that the station has published, if it has one.
Continuing on the playback screen we see that at the bottom we have the volume controls, go forward, backward, pause, stop with which we can control the broadcast that we have active at all times.
Also, if we move the playback screen from right to left, we will have access to some recommended stations of the same style as the one we are listening to. If we scroll from left to right, the same playback screen will tell us the last stations listened to.
