In it we can see all our contacts that have VIBER. At the top we have 4 buttons with which we can:
- VIBER: A list will appear with all the contacts in our phonebook that have VIBER.
- TODO: We will see all the contacts in our phonebook, regardless of whether they use VIBER or not.
- FAVORITES: The people we have cataloged as favorites will appear in this list.
- «+»: We can create a new VIBER contact .
HOW TO CALL?
To call anyone who uses this application, we must click on their contact.
In it we see all kinds of information and two buttons « FREE CALL » and « FREE TEXT « stand out. If we press the first one, we will be making a free call to said contact via VOIP. If we press the second button we will send a free instant message, just as if we were sending a WhatsApp .
If by any chance the call could not be made via VOIP, it would give us the option of calling through the conventional telephone network.
When calling, this interface will appear:
In it we can view the quality of the call (green icon that we see in the upper right part of the screen), mute the microphone, access the numeric keypad, activate the speaker
THE BOTTOM MENU:
At the bottom of the screen we have available a menu with which we can access:
- MESSAGES: We access instant messages sent through this app. A list of people with whom we have "chatted" will appear. In the interface of sending messages we can say that it is very similar to WhatsApp, we would even say that it is better. Right next to the box where we write the text we have a "+" with which we can send emoticons, stickers, photos, the location. In addition, it gives us the possibility to call the person with whom we are messaging directly through VIBER, by pressing the button « CALL » located at the top right. Just to the left of it we have the "CONFIGURATION" button with which we can change the background of the "chat" and add participants to the conversation.
- RECENT: A list of the last calls made or received will appear.
- CONTACTS: Menu that we normally access when entering the app and that we have already explained.
- NUMERIC KEYPAD: Gives you the possibility to call a specific number directly.
- MORE: We can modify our profile, learn more about the application, access its settings, invite our friends
In the "SETTINGS" of the application we advise you, for privacy reasons, to deactivate the "COLLECT DATA" option. Supposedly the application collects data from our use in order to help them improve. This is a personal choice.
As you may have seen, VIBER is not only a good application to make free VOIP calls but also a great instant messaging application that we like much more Whatsapp.
