This term comes from Latin, its origin is in the verb administer and refers to exerting control, the command of something specific. In the economic aspect, managing refers to planning, organizing, directing and controlling all the resources belonging to an organization, in order to achieve the proposed objectives. This activity can be carried out by an individual or group of individuals who will be in charge of maintaining order and organization of a company, a small business and even a nation.

The way in which a person manages a company will determine if their work has been efficient, since if there are complicated or chaotic moments, and it is not known for what certain money was used, and everything is a disorder, it is difficult for a company to perform and meet its objectives. Hence the importance of knowing how to administer it.

But managing does not only mean knowing how to manage a company or business, this term can also be used to regulate the use of something, for example a medicine. When we are at home, it is the parents who manage everything in the house, especially the mother who is the one who tries to give up the money so that it can cover all the needs of the home.

Knowing how to manage is not something to write home about, it is not a complicated discipline that takes a long time, you only need to know how to reason, apply a little common sense and also be very prudent when using the resources entrusted to us. It is also commonly used to know how to manage time, for example a person who works in an office must manage his time well so that it works and can fulfill the tasks assigned by his boss.
