Anorexia is a medical term used to describe that disease or disorder that affects the eating behavior of a certain individual. In other words, anorexia is the abnormal lack or deprivation of the desire to eat food, related to a depressive condition, which can be serious, and is generally suffered by women during the adolescence stage.
Anorexia is a problem that can lead to excessive weight loss, caused by the affected person and that leads to a complete state of starvation. This disorder is usually characterized by an exaggerated fear of gaining weight, since he also has a distorted perception and delusional image of his own body, observing himself fat, when his weight is, many times, well below the recommended. And it is for this reason that the patient begins with a great decrease in weight through deprivation of food intake or fasting.
