Anonim

The word anoxia refers to the almost complete insufficiency of oxygen in the tissues of the body, or even in the bloodstream. It is a process that is related to hypoxia, it is the lack of oxygen in one part of the body or in its defect in the whole organism. It is a time when the amount of oxygen in the body's cells is not so satisfactory. Anoxia could be conceived by a pulmonary pathology such as anoxic anoxia, by anemic anoxia, which is the decrease or variation of hemoglobin that paralyzes the adherence of oxygen in the amounts that are necessary, or anoxia by stenosis is the decline in blood circulation or histotoxic anoxia this refers to the inability of tissues to establish oxygen.

An anoxia can be caused by lung disease, heart failure or anemia, among other causes. When this occurs on the mucosa or skin, anoxia induces cyanosis, that is, blackening of the area and gives them a bluish purple hue. When anoxia touches the brain, it can be catastrophic, since the brain cannot tolerate resisting oxygen deprivation for that long.

The sequelae can range from loss of consciousness to leading the person to fall into a coma. Sometimes the damage is irreversible and the consequences can be serious. The treatments for anoxia are applied according to the class and its cause and subsequently its treatment must be established.

One of the causes that produce neurosis is linked to the lack of oxygen during childbirth. There are some incidents of women who have taken a strong dose of analgesics during delivery, which have caused complications in the stability of the fetus, paralyzing the free circulation of oxygen; in other cases it occurs because the umbilical cord has been cut prematurely and the newborn was unable to receive the necessary oxygen; In addition to this, in cases where the baby is wrapped in the umbilical cord, it also suffers from oxygen deprivation.
