Anticience is a term adopted by the different philosophical currents that oppose science and scientific methods, people who are against scientific methods, question the reductionism on which science is based and consider that it is neither objective nor it is absolute. Anti-science attitudes tend to be fostered when political ideologies or religious beliefs come into conflict with real science. It is likely that these positions are the result of ideological situations, however the fact of presenting a particular ideology does not mean that the person is automatically unscientific.
The most common purposes of anti-science include evolution, global warming, and different forms of medicine. Some of the anti-scientific methods applied are: the effort to discredit scientific results, arguing that its consequences are not entirely good. The intention of replacing evidence-backed science with pseudosciences. Label scientific ideas as conspiracy theories. The absolute denial, because if you can not contradict something, the easier it is to deny it. And the last one, hide the observed events.
Among those who oppose science, are the supporters of creationism, these are often in conflict with science and often attack it, arguing that it contradicts the bible when it refers to the age of the earth or how they were created the species, etc. while the theory of evolution, the fossil record, the theory of relativity, and many other fields of science shake the arguments for creationism.
Similarly, there are the proponents of alternative medicine, who frequently attack the application of vaccines and evidence-based therapeutic medicine, claiming that their efficacy can only be compared to that of the placebo effect.
