This science is not only responsible for the breeding of bees but also deals with studying them, aimed at providing the care needed to obtain each of the products that these insects can make or even collect, such as honey, royal jelly, pollen, wax, propolis or even apitoxin (poison).
People who practice beekeeping are called beekeepers; This is in charge of carrying out different activities in reference to the bees, for example the care of the bees can vary by seasons, during the summer they generally work with these insects at the same time that they are in charge of the elaboration of the products obtained from them, but in winter time, which is also known as "the recess season", the work lies in the maintenance and preparation of the wood that will be used for the following season where new bees will be placed.
