The word Argument comes from the Latin "argumentum" and this in turn is composed of "arguere" which means "to make clear" and "mentum" whose meaning corresponds to "instrument, means or result" so we can say that argument is to leave clear a matter through an instrument. An argument is a kind of proof or demonstration about a specific topic, which must be based on logical reasoning for it to be asserted. Generally this type of reason is used as an expression, either written or oral, where something is affirmed or denied with firmness and determination., for example, "you can't say that outrage without having a convincing argument", "as your boss, these are the arguments I show you to fire yourself".
The main objective of the argument is to try to convince or persuade the person against whom it is exposed about the veracity of what is said, about that particular topic that is discussed in a given place and time. For this demonstration to be able to fulfill its purpose, it must have certain essential characteristics of which it is said that the argument must be convincing, consistent, solid and without contradictions, so that its credibility is not affected nor can it be rejected. The reasons why an argument is presented must be based on the fact that it is desired to support a hypothesis or idea and thus be able to justify what is considered true.
The arguments are common and concurring in the world of the right hand, because they are legally those who have the distinction of becoming the key to a lawyer in a court trial to save his client or convict the defendant. This is the best example, because it is the lawyer who must present solid and consistent arguments before the judge so that they can be irrefutable, in order to leave evidence that what he defends is the sole and absolute truth. In addition, the word is used argument to define the content of a speech, book, film, play, etc.
