The term derives from the Greek " Aristos " which means " The best " and " Kratos " referring to " Government ". Therefore, the aristocracy and the autocracy have similarity, in the sense of disharmony with the people when deciding for the rulers. In these cases, what was valuable was to belong to the royal family, of the high rank or simply to be the owner of land and fortunes.
This behavior comes from Europe, of course that in colonial times the aristocracy expanded throughout the world, creating agencies, empires and dependencies of these that in turn became governments. There were cases in which aristocracy also denoted between the philosophers and the studied. The aristocracy gave importance, gave prestige and position among the society that lived in the centers of ancestry.
