In general, this characteristic can cause rejection by those around him, caused by actions such as the denial of his origins, which causes him to also be excluded from the social group to which he desperately tries to fit in, which triggers bad feelings such as anger and envy towards society on the part of the person in this situation.
A fairly frequent ideology adopted by careerists is that the end justifies the means, this means that that person will try at all costs to achieve the goal that has been set without caring about anything or anyone around him, using all of them. the tools and resources at their disposal if necessary, becoming individuals who have no conscience and are undoubtedly capable of using unethical procedures in order to obtain whatever they want, their thirst for power being insatiable for any thing.
The concept of careerism is totally in opposition to what is known as progress, which is a quality that human beings possess, since careerism focuses on belonging to a greater stratum regardless of the tools used to achieve its objective that generally is the happiness based on the material goods and the wealth that are possessed.
