It is one of the most widely used polysemic terms. The most used context is that of the process through which a being passes, where he is dedicated to reflecting on an event in which an event shook him and he cannot understand. It has been used in different fields, among which is biology, language and genetics, within which it evolved and adapted. Within the field of biology, the term is related to the production of new cells considered complex, through the use of others that have simple structures.
Food assimilation, meanwhile, is the step during which proteins, carbohydrates and components with nutritional values of food are converted into light substances that are absorbed by the body. In genetics, it occurs when a genotype generates a response to an environmental entity, independently, to protect from any possible damage. At the cultural level, the word takes on a meaning that dictates: the integration of a people of reduced dimensions to another with greater powers of dominion, can lose its by adopting another that has more exponents than its own.
In language, meanwhile, phonetic assimilation occurs when the pronunciation of a term evolves, that is, it is simplified, making its pronunciation much easier, in addition to adapting it to the context. They can be given by two situations, the word can change due to the influence of the term before it, thus being progressive, and if the word after it forces it to change, it becomes a regressive case; there are also the conditions in which they can occur, such as proximity and adjacency. They are classified into 4 types, according to the position of the word that changes the context and the condition: regressive by adjacency, progressive by adjacency, regressive by proximity and progressive by proximity.
