An astronomer is a scientist who deals with the study of the universe and how they are made up of the same, they carry out the study through the use of an important observation tool, for this reason astronomers are the only scientists who do not work within a laboratory for their part they work in enclosures defined as observatories.
The study of the universe can be covered by looking at different aspects such as: the observed object, in this area the astronomer who is in charge of observing the constellations, location of the stars, those who designate the path of comets and ends; If we refer to the type of technique used for the study, variations of astronomers can be differentiated, such as radio astronomers who use radio telescopes to carry out studies of the universe or spectroscopists who focus on studying the spectrum of light emitted by stars and constellations, and Finally, due to the objective chosen for the study, this type of astronomy execution is classified as:
- Alstroemeria and celestial mechanics: they are in charge of analyzing the movement of the stars and the laws by which they are based.
- Astrophysics: it is responsible for studying all the physical characteristics of the stars, length, relief, physical condition and is not only limited to pure description but is also responsible for documenting the nature of these stars, that is, their evolution, such as is constituted and ends.
Despite the importance of the work of an astronomer, in the world there are shortages of work for these professionals, very few are those who are studying and analyzing the stars in observatories and many of them are giving classes in the universities that teach this career.
