The term Autocracy comes from the combination of the Greek " Autos " which means " Self " and " Kratos " which defines " Government ". From this etymology arises what would be known as a " political trend " whose principles are governed by the unique and unequaled authority of a person acting as a ruler over a group of people. The concept is interpreted in a better way when we take a look at history, this, in view of the fact that we are in a plural and politically developed society with an emphasis on inclusion and teamwork, something that many of us know as democracy.
Ancient civilizations lived the phenomenon of autocracy in harmony, different types of deities endorsed the autocratic behavior of a dome of the organization with flag and strength, which was governed by a human being but with supreme attitudes. Hundreds were the populations that had to succumb to the demands of a king, a queen, a monarch or a czar, since these were the autocratic leaders of these social eras. The dependency of the peoples on autocratic governments vanished with the passing of time, the organizations around these foundations committed all kinds of abuses and adulteries against those who obeyed the designs of the leader with autocracy.
Regardless of the personality of the politician, he embodied in the populations that dominated his interests and plans, in order for his mandate to be fulfilled, they had a complex and always advanced army that imposed respect and discipline. Today the different systems of governments act in a way that benefits the people and not as in the case of autocratics, however, corruption and the different forms of government that have manifested in recent decades in the form of dictatorship, imply that the formats of freedom and union offered by rulers are nothing more than a disguise for autocracy to dominate populations and economies that develop easily. Today there are countries like Cuba mired in autocratic dictatorships and which they have not been able to get rid of so easily.
