The Buddhism is known as a doctrine philosophical and religious, which do not believe in any God, but in a supreme spiritual presence, ie Buddhism is a current non-theistic, its principles are based on knowledge and nature, people who practice this way of life can reach a harmonious spiritual training and management of the psyche.
The person who left these teachings was Gautama Buddha, who was known as a religious reformer who lived in India 500 BC. His origin comes from the Sanskrit "buddha, which means the enlightened one." Actually his name was Siddharta Gautama, it is known that his family was aristocrat, but it was never possible to determine exactly if he was a nobleman or a prince, however in order to lead the spiritual life he chose, he renounced all his material belongings, inheritance and social status and thus be able to continue and practice their religion.
Through the practice of Buddhism, people are able to feel a connection with themselves and in this way they can feel peace and spiritual and mental tranquility, they are also considered wise and conscious people, they achieve this state through meditation. Buddhas are the subjects who live, not through material things, but through their own spirit, for this they disinterestedly detach themselves from all earthly possessions in order to reach nirvana, which is the immaterial and psychic phase that leads to inner happiness. free from suffering and successive reincarnations are also avoided.
It is important to note that a god or a deity is not considered a Buddha, a Buddha does not have supernatural powers that allow him to be omnipotent, that person who practices Buddhism and who can become a Buddha is because he has really discovered the way to meet with his inner self through meditation, as did Siddhartha Gautama, who was known as a sage by his followers. Where this religion is most practiced is in the Asian continent, however, despite having originated in that region, Buddhism has crossed borders, it is no longer concentrated only in the eastern world, thus having a large number of followers.
